Dokey, a native of Green Bay, was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association All-Central Region Third Team after leading the Eagles in points and assists this season.

    RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- The NSCAA has announced the 2009 NSCAA/MONDO Division III Men's Soccer Regional Coach of the Year Awards with Dominican University's Erick Baumann claiming the honor for the Central Region. It is the second time in 15 seasons the Stars' leader has been honored with a regional coach of the year award, as Baumann was named the NAIA Region VII Coach of the Year in 1999 when he guided the Stars to the program's first regional championship.

    Both Edgewood College soccer teams earn NSCAA academic award MADISON, Wis. -- The term student-athlete isn't just lip service for the Edgewood College men's and women's soccer teams. Both squads received the 2009 College Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Edgewood College is one of 99 schools in the nation (all NCAA divisions and NAIA) to have both their men’s and women’s teams honored.

Today, Tyler Duellman and Jerrid Dokey were both named ESPN The Magazine Academic All-Americans, marking the first time in school history two teammates have earned Academic All-American honors in the same year.

To be eligible for the honor, nominated student-athletes are required to maintain a minimum 3.30 cumulative grade point average throughout their academic career.
