    ROCKFORD, Ill. -- Rockford College Athletic Director Hank Espensen recently announced the promotion of Daniel Lingenfelter as the school's new men's head soccer coach. Lingenfelter was an assistant coach on a 2005 Regent men's soccer team whose season was cut short due to injuries.

Aurora University, who received the remaining two first place votes, was tabbed second in the poll. Concordia University Wisconsin was selected third.
