MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Benedictine University senior forward Eric Grygo (Addison, Ill.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 11-17, 2019, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Grygo averaged 20.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game last week as Benedictine won two of three games and won the championship at the Rhodes College Tip-Off Tournament in Memphis. He shot 69.4 percent (25-36) from the floor overall, including a 10-of-11 effort in an 80-58 win over host Rhodes. He logged double-doubles in both games at Rhodes with 18 points and 11 rebounds against LeTourneau and 22 points and 10 boards against Rhodes. Grygo opened the week with 21 points and seven rebounds in a road loss at Hope.
