Benedictine University's Jordan Johnson has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Feb. 12-18, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Johnson (Tucker, Ga.) continued a strong season with another record-breaking performance at the F. Lee Slick Invite hosted by North Central College. The junior bettered his already No. 1 time in the nation in the 60-meter dash with a 6.79, a school record, which is tied for the best nationally. He also bettered his mark in the 200-meter, running a 21.90, converted to a 21.52, best in the country. Johnson won both events at the meet.
