Wisconsin Lutheran College's Jacob Jodat and Milwaukee School of Engineering's Jerica Kotarak have been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for events of April 10-16, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis.) won a pair of distance races in back-to-back days at two different meets last week. He won the 3,000 meters on Thursday at the St. Norbert Twilight in a school-record time of 8:52.93. Jodat returned on Friday to also win the 10,000 meters at the Benedictine Eagle Relays in a NACC season-best time of 32:49.17.
Kotarak (Wind Lake, Wis.) won the triple jump (11.48 meters) and took second in the long jump (5.62) at the Benedictine Relays. In the long jump, she took second only to a Division I athlete and beat third place by .18 meters while she won the triple jump by .15 meters.
