Benedictine University's Eric Grygo has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Nov. 27-Dec. 3, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Grygo (Addison, Ill.) posted a pair of double-doubles -- the first of his career -- as the Eagles notched a 2-0 week to move to 3-0 in the conference. The sophomore forward averaged 21.5 points, 11.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest as he shot 76 percent from the field. He scored a career-high 25 points and added 11 rebounds with four assists in a win at Concordia University Chicago Thursday, then scored 18 points and tacked on 11 rebounds before fouling out in a win over rival Aurora University.
