Benedictine University's Brayden Olson has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Nov. 20-26, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Olson (Grand Rapids, Mich.) averaged 34.5 points per game in two contests, setting a career high in each game. The senior guard scored 32 points in a buzzer-beater loss at No. 12 North Central College Tuesday, as he made 10 field goals and five three-pointers with four assists and two steals. He bettered that mark with 37 points in the conference opener against Marian University, helping the team rally from down double digits for the win. Olson made 11 field goals and seven threes against Marian while adding five rebounds and five assists.
