Benedictine University's Brandon Moore and Danny Drummond and Concordia University Wisconsin's Jacob Mason have been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Football Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Student-Athletes of the Week for events of Sept. 4-10, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Moore (Wheaton, Ill.) reeled in a team-high eight passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns in a win at St. Norbert College. The junior wide receiver snared a 75-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
Drummond (Holland, Mich.) led the Eagles with 13 tackles, including five for loss in the win versus the Green Knights. The senior defensive lineman recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown and notched two sacks as Benedictine posted seven and limited St. Norbert to less than 200 total yards.
Mason (Slinger, Wis.) connected on 3-of-4 field goals in the Falcons nonconference game at Augsburg University. The junior kicker kept the Falcons in the contest in the opening half, making the three kicks in the first 30 minutes of play. His final field goal gave the Falcons a 16-14 lead. Mason also averaged 37 yards per punt with a long of 58.
