MSOE, Aurora Seize NACC All-Sports Awards

The standings of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference All-Sports Awards have been finalized with the completion of the 2013-14 academic year. MSOE won the men's title and Aurora won the women's title.

This is the first time the Raiders have won the trophy. The MSOE men's teams finished in the top three in six sports standings, including the regular-season title in tennis, runner-up finishes in basketball, cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field, and a third-place finish in golf.

MSOE had a 9.69 index in the standings, ahead of runners-up Aurora and Concordia Wisconsin, which tied for second with an 8.94 index. Aurora won last year's title.

The Spartans repeated for the women's trophy, and won for the third time overall including the inaugural title in '06-07.

Aurora compiled an 11.94 index, ahead of runner-up Concordia Wisconsin's 11.22 and third-place Benedictine's 9.72.

The Aurora women's teams took home regular-season championships in cross country, soccer, softball, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field, and also won the soccer tournament. The Spartans were runners-up in tennis and took third in golf.

The men's standings use a 14-point base, while the women's standings use a 15-point base.
