Dominican, Aurora in Top 100 in Fall 2018 Learfield Directors' Cup Standings
WESTLAKE, Ohio --- Two Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) core members were among the top 100 in the final fall 2018-19 Division III Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings released Thursday by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). 

Rankings for the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup are based on an institutions' NCAA Championships finish in 31 sports over the course of the academic year. The fall 2018-19 rankings include men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, football, volleyball and field hockey.
Dominican University was tied for 63rd place with 75 points. The Stars claimed the NACC tournament title in men's soccer and earned a first-round victory in the NCAA Championship to gain 50 points. Dominican swept the league's regular-season and tournament crowns in women's soccer and picked up an additional 25 points by qualifying for the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship.
Aurora University tallied 73 points to tie for 69th place after a successful run in the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship. The Spartans picked up NACC regular-season and tournament titles en route to an NCAA regional crown and a berth in the national quarterfinals.
Additionally, NACC associate member Eureka College secured 25 points by winning the league's football title and earning an automatic berth to the NCAA Championship. The Red Devils are tied for 132nd place.

The final winter standings will be released March 28.
